Puerto Rican musician, composer, and producer Christian Maldonado, known in the art world as Master Chris, is a graduate in music education from the Conservatory of Music and the University of Puerto Rico. In his professional facet as a pianist, he has worked for great artists in his country, becoming a composer and music producer for a large part of them, launching the production entitled ¨Desde mi Interior¨ of sacred music hits played on piano in 2007.

 

His passion for music education is notable for which he has also been a piano and vocal technique teacher for children and youth, and has directed the music program of the municipality of San Lorenzo in Puerto Rico, as well as the alumni choir of the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Campus.

 

His diverse musical influences are responsible for the versatility of this great musician, composer and producer. Many of his works have received recognized awards and nominations such as the Latin Billboards, Latin Grammy, Gardel Awards, Nuestra Tierra Awards, among others.

 

In his more than 20 years of professional experience, Master Chris has worked for great artists such as Alexis y Fido, Celia Cruz, J Balvin, Alkilados, Jerry Rivera, Zion y Lennox, Las knarias, Christian Daniel, Fonseca, Mauro Castillo, Charlie Cruz , Bonny Cepeda, among others.  

 

Likewise, he has worked for different television productions, being the musical producer and composer together with Andrés Gelós of Cumbia Ninja, a series that won the Best Music award at the Nuestra Tierra Awards 2014, and a platinum record for its sales. In addition, he has composed and produced for the Colombian telenovela Celia based on the life of Celia Cruz, as well as for the Colombian reality show Protagonistas de Nuestra Tele, and for renowned television channels such as Natgeo Mundo, RCN, Telecolombia, Turner Broadcast, HTV, and Fox International.
